  • The heaviest cockroach is the Australian giant burrowing cockroach, weighing 30 grams (1.1 ounce) and is approximately 9 cm (3.5 in) long.

  • Cockroaches have allergens that can cause asthma attacks, which can be as common as dust mite asthma related allergies.
  • Hydramethylnon, fipronil and boric acid are all toxic to cockroaches, so these chemicals are often used in cockroach baits.

  • Bungee jumping is normally performed on very tall, vertical or horizontal objects, such as mountains, bridges and buildings.

  • The term ‘bungee’ from bungee jumping, comes from a dialect of English, which means ‘anything thick and squat’, although the term is most likely a reference to the type of cord used.
  • Bungee jumps are usually made from objects that don’t move but sometimes jumps are made from an aircraft.
  • Bungee jumping uses an elastic rope that is tied around the jumper’s legs and protective equipment that is similar to the protective equipment used in climbing.

  • Frangipanis are flowering plants from the family Apocynaceae, which is the family of dogbane, and their official name is Plumeria, which they are often called.
  • Frangipanis are shrubs and small trees that are mostly deciduous.
  • Frangipanis are native to Central and South America, Mexico and the Caribbean, although they can now be found in most tropical areas.
  • Frangipanis don’t contain any nectar, and therefore deceive the insects that come to pollinate it by its sweet, fragant scent.
  • Sphinx moths pollinate frangipanis at night, when the scent of the flower is the strongest.
